		<description>Michelada - Yum!  Was just enjoying one yesterday with some guests from Scotland who had never heard of such a thing, but they loved it as well.  Our version is Mexican beer (Tecate in our case), with a generous amount of fresh squeezed lime juice and a splash of Clamato juice, served over ice with a salted rim (a few dashes of tabasco for that added, spicy kick and reminder of a good bloody mary).

As the author mentioned, these are GREAT on a hot day!

And thanks for the reminder of the Shandy... I drank those years ago (discovered them in Europe) and really enjoyed them.  The closest I could come was mixing lite American beers with the grapefruit soda, &quot;Squirt&quot;, at about 2/3 beer, 1/3 Squirt.  Good stuff!
